Slow Internet Speed. What's the best App to speed connection up?

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good app to speed up Internet access on Galaxy S2 running ICS. Wifi connection is fine, it's when I am connected via 3G that speed drops and applications such as facebook takes a long time to open and sometimes I encounter timeout errors.

For a phone with such a fast processor this is a little bit disappointing.

My question therefore is there an app that can run in the background to speed the 3g connection up?

Is it possible that the problem could be with your network provider? Have you spoken to them about your problem?

I don't think there's an app which can speed up your internet or boost your data signal. There is a way to lock on to the 'H' signal only using secret codes

Check with the service provider, as more apps will only increase power consumption. Check this out for further assistance with Samsung related issues.

Could be worth a try, from the user reviews people were saying that it didn't make a much of a difference...still, a little is a difference. There's didn't seem to be anything malicious about it.
