Unhappy Problem (or not?) with Galaxy S Plus aplication menu

I have problem with my Samsung Galaxy S Plus (i9001) applications menu grid view. When I am in applications menu (not home screen) and making changes in order of icons, it doesn't want to change setting, even I chose 'save' At first it shows icons in right order, how I changed, but after a while or when I restart phone it keeps coming back to old sorting Isn't it should save my sorting order? How can I fix? Or maybe it shouldn't change at all, but then why it has this option at first place

P.S. I'm using Android gingerbread 2.3.6 XXKQG version

    Your right, it should save.

I can only think of 4 solutions.

1: Deleting App data - Go into App manager in the settings menu, find the app, clear cache and data. This may work and easiest to do
2: Change launcher - I like Go Launcher Ex
3: Factory Reset - Wipes all your system data. Sorts out lots of problems usually, but means you have to re-setup your phone.
4: Change Firmware - Your current firmware maybe buggy. A different firmware may have this sorted out.

I found one solution - I started to use appZorter application, it sorts applications alphabetically, so it's fine with me now
