That's not the app charging you, it's the number you sent tge text to.

Just done a bit of a search and there is at least one scam out there. One is for a so called app called Battery Super Charger, if you install it, it automatically subscribes you to their service and is chargeable and not cheap either. There is another one that pops up in some apps that are ad supported which shows a notification that your battery needs upgrading and you're supposed to click on it and it takes you to some scam app and it does the same thing. I fell for it once and once only and now, any app that throws anything like that up gets uninstalled immediately.

It won't be to do with Go SMS as that is ad free. It will be something else that you have installed or a link you've clicked on.

Have a look at what you have installed recently, apart from Go SMS and see if you can work out which one is the culprit.

If you're not sure, post a list here of what you have installed recently, say in the past week and if there is anything I recognise I will let you know. Also, if you could do a screenshot and post it, that would be helpful too.

Here is a link to what I did find when I searched http://thetechieguy.com/2012/01/18/w...am-on-android/

Just in case. Did you install the app from play store, if not you may have installed a bad app.

Vodafone won't refund as it's a user error.

I was getting charge for this subscription. I text the word STOP back to 60074, I had a text sent right back to be letting me know I have been unsubscribe to the service, also had there customer support number. I gave them a ring to see if I could get a refund for this month, they provided me with a refund with no hassle!
