email server settings modification problem

Hi guys, I'm struggling with my new s2 on ICS regarding changing the email server settings for my email account.

I can set up my account and send/receive emails with no problem using either pop or imap, the problem I have is trying to then modify the 'Server Settings' to set the 'delete from server' option under 'incoming settings'.

When I select 'incomming settings', username/password, 'done', nothing happens, I'm just returned back to the original settings screen that I originally selected 'incomming settings' from. What is also suspicious is the option for 'outgoing settings' is not listed at all, when I look at documentation the option for 'outgoing settings' is there under 'server settings' but not on my phone it's not.

Has anyone else had a similar problem or anyone with advice to solve, it would be much appreciated.

I am assuming stock Sammy email app......? Outgoing settings will only be visible if you set up "POP", if IMAP it is set automatically by phone. The options for delete from server etc will have to be set from your webmail account on a PC.

Yes stock email app, I originally tried a pop account but had the same problem, selecting the 'incoming settings' did nothing and the 'outgoing settings' option was not listed at all.
I'm assuming other people can actually access the 'incoming settings' on the S2 i.e this:



I've already got my PC set to delete from server but like to delete the 'rubbish' from my inbox when i first see if arrive on my S2.
