Still don't know the full story, for all we know the guy could've been using the wrong cable or a faulty one in his car. Think that video is going to be of someone putting the phone in a bag and sending it back to Samsung.

Wonder what comparison they'll make to nature about the explosion. " We modelled the MicroUSB port on the The Big Bang"

Not the best position but not much space to put it else where. Know what you mean though, bits of my palm seem to overlap the phone some times pressing the backbutton.

Hello All, found an article regarding an app on Google Play - Voodoo Galaxy III Sim Unlock

Free, requires root, GT-I9300 only, beta version.

This application unlocks your phone baseband so it becomes able to use SIM cards from any carrier without restriction.



Have given this it's own thread.

Anyone here uses the Videotron service in the Quebec (Canada) and can tell me if this program can unlock their smartphones. Because I heard that the way the put them up it isn't possible to unlock them

You could give it a try? If it doesn't unlock first time, try a second but I would be scepticle about trying any more than that.

You may want to check the user reviews at Google Play to see if someone has confirmed it on there.

I should receive my S3 this week, on the 28th, as everybody else. So no one has been able to test it so far. But I will see if there are some comments on the S2. Thanks!

Battery Saving tips for SGS3:



Most of you will know most of these tips. However there was one function which was explained which was the Battery Saving mode in the Notifications bar which apparently

Reduces Clockspeed
Reduces Framerate & Brightness of display
Turns backgrounds to black in email programs etc, to save illuminating pixels
Disables Haptic Feedback

Hope this helps some people.
