Was playing with S Voice yesterday. Quite impressed by its recognition accuracy vs my old SGS. Didn't always get me what I wanted, though.
Have now turned off the voice wake up as recommended - wouldn't use it so no loss.
I also use a 50% screen filter at night and find that makes the battery last a lot longer.
I could be wrong, I usually am. (Because it's only a phone)

Not too keen on S-voice, think it will have trouble understanding me when I first wake up. Would like to shout at the phone in the morning to put snooze on:
"Hi Galaxy"
"shut the hell up!"
Didn't realise but if you go to Settings > about phone > and repeatedly tap the version number you get an ICS droid appear
If you then tap on the Droid that appears you get lots of em flying

So I threw the phone across the room to MAKE him/her/it fly.

This can be done! Settings > Language & Input > Voice Command for Apps, this gives you options to use voice control for camera ('shoot' or 'smile' to take a photo), dialer ('answer'/'reject') and alarm ('snooze'/'stop'). I now shout 'stop' when the alarm goes off, rather than rolling over and turning it off, and then end up going back to sleep
