The app causing the problem is LightFlow and apparently the problem gets a lot worse if you use Google Books. Since it needs access to the Accessibility options it will start to read out things/books automatically, even with Talkback option off.

Not really a problem for me since I do not use folders on the homescreen and rarely mess with the homescreen or number of.

Edit: Don't forget to backup settings within app before uninstalling.

Also came across another way to view homepages quickly. On any homescreen hold down the white dot (above dock icons) and swipe back and forth. not saying it's new but still nifty. Works in the app draw too....I guess any screen that has the white dots.

How to get rid of the speaking voice if using Lightflow:

Very simple solution. Go to Menu > Settings > Accessibility and turn the Lightflow option off. Lightflow will still work and you no longer have the annoying voice.

    Hope this helps some people.

    Swype for SGS 3

So was reading through XDA for resolution to the my Swype problem. Those of you that have tried to install Swype Beta may have been getting the parse error appear.

http://db.tt/bymnGD93 - this link was found on XDA site, was posted by another user so not sure who the Original Poster is....but thank you!!!!

Download and install s3swype.apk in the above link.

Go to: Menu > Settings > Language & Input > then tick the 'Swype' box.

Then click on the settings (cog), this will load the Swype settings. Select Input Method > the click on Swype

If you are in the UK then to download the UK language..when in Language Options:

Click on Language Options > Download languages > select English UK.

Once the UK language has been downloaded and installed.

At the top you should see English (US) click on it to select a different language, select English UK.

Any other languages that have ticks, towards the bottom of the Language Options, will be active languages and will show in your dictionary. Just untick the languages you do not wish to be active.

I have just installed and tried the above method, it all works. Thank you XDA!!!

Edit: Slight problem with the keyboard where it wouldn't retract, no matter what screen I was on. A restart solved it but it could be related to a few things. I use Chrome which is what I think may have triggered it.

Hello, not particularly for the SGS 3 but worth a mention that Winzip is now available for Android. Adao file Manager and some other apps are capable of handling zip files but good to see Winzip finally released.

Update on the previous post. Swype beta now works with SGS 3 and can be obtained in the normal way.

No need to remove previous Swype versions.

So the Disassembly video in post #4 doesn't tell you how to take apart the bezel and looks to be apart of the main chassis. I will post another video when one is released on how to disassemble the screen which should include the bezel.

Could you include a video how to reposition the back button to a better location as I'm finding it near impossible to hit it first time.
I could be wrong, I usually am. (Because it's only a phone)
