GALAXY NOTE - MICRO SD and FILMS

    Hi All,
New to the note but already impressed far more than ever was with the Iphone.

I am off abroad with work soon and installed a Micro sd so i could load up some films to watch while away.
My music and photo transfer seems to work fine but It wont recognise any of the films. I tried using Keis , Drag and Drop , the USB extrenal Drive option and none appear to work. There are some smaller clips that i have taken with the iphone before that work but none of the actual films. I have tried converting from avi , mpg , mwv to mp4 to make them more regular format. but still doesnt work. Last night i managed to get a single film recognised but it only plays about a min or 2 then recycles to the start
I also have a strange situation where i tried transfering music and films at the same time. The file browser reported the films were there but when i played them it was the music instead ?
Have read lots of threads on different sites but dont know if i am doing something stupid ?
Any assitance would be most welcome.
    Rgds

Just check it's not the sd card by transferring one video to internal memory.
Could be the sd card isn't fast enough.
You could also look at installing another video player from Play Store.

I had a similar thing with some mp3 files. I moved some downloaded ones from internal sd card to external sd and the music player wouldn't recognize them. I hen copied them rather than move and they worked fine. Just an idea.

Thanks to Greenman & Hazi for your replies.
I tried copying a number of smaller MWV,s from my work PC direct to the SD card once undocked from the phone. Putting it back in again out of the 12 it only recognised 2. dont ask me why only 2 as all the files were of a similar size and format ???? It looks as if it also corrupted the image files i put on there as well.....
    Anyway
I managed to copy 2 x Films without an issue using Keis air rather than the USB ? and its worked fine. This includes copying them over from the internal storage to the sd Card where they work fine also.
So maybe its a confiuguration thing when swapping files directly between NTFS and FAT ????

You've found the answer. Files in NTFS format are not compatible with the Fat32 of your phone.
