White SII Owners

I'm about to negotiate an upgrade to an SIII with orange, and would normally plump for the blue version, but as that's in short supply at the mo and I really don't want to wait much longer, i'm considering the white one. Having noe seen one, i think it looks pretty classy, but im worried about how long it will stay like that before getting scuffed, dirty etc. I'm not a great one for taking care of my phones, not big on cases and screen protectors, but my old SGSI is still in relatively good nick. I had a white case for a phone once and it got dyed blue from my jeans, weouldn't want that to happen!

So, now that the SGS II is over year old, how are the white ones bearing up?

I have an SGS3 White and it will stay white for a long time. The back is plastic and worse replaceable for a few pounds. What's left of the white front is covered in Gorilla Glass 2 so you will always be able to wipe it clean.

I'm going to get a mobile sock and that will do for the phone, worked fine for my SGS1.

I had a look at both blue and white in some shops today, and i must say that seeing them side by side, i'm gravitating towards the white. Strangely, the screen on the white one seems more vivid, perhaps because of the white framing or maybe because the blue ones were nearer the window, so more glare, but in three different shops?

I loved my white SII which is still unmarked and now in hubbys possession. I have never had it in a case and the shiny surface seems very tough. I always wanted the white SIII and am loving it to bits.

Could you let me know which shops you saw the blue s3 in. I can't find any shops stocking it at the moment online.

3, o2 and t-mobile had working demo versions of both colours, but i don't think they could actually sell anyone a blue one at the moment.

I've just ordered a white s3 on orange, free phone for £26 a month. Still a month waiting list the the blue one!
