Help, Cannot type-in password at all

I cannot type in password on any online services eg, facebook/email etc. I can type-in username but cannot type in password its just a blinking cursor you see but cannot see any alphabets, numbers etc etc..been trying too, to "Factory Data Reset" but i need to type in password for my emails and so forth. Please Help! Really appreciate it and thanking you in advance.

Has this just happened or is it a new phone and always been like this?

Try taking out the battery for 10 mins and then put back. Think I had a similar problem recently but my problem was down to the keyboard rather than the web viewer or the phone.
