Music for a ringtone

Hi I have downloaded songs into my music app on the phone ( galaxy s2 ) can i make one of those songs as my ringtone for my phone , if so how do I go about it ? many thx

In 'music' application select your track with a long press and up comes a menu with 'set as'.
That has the options you're looking for.

Also an app called Ringdroid allows you to select an individual part of a song manually for making a notification tone. Really handy!
