    white screen in email

    Hi All
I have setup email on my Samsung SII but I can only see text in the preview of a message.
When I go in to look at the full message all I get is the send name.
The main body of the message is all white no text visible.
I tried deleting the setup and setting it up again with no difference.
Anyone any ideas what the problem might be?

Sounds like the message is not downloading - or the text colour is white
Have you tried on wifi and mobile data?

Best way of getting email on your phone is via your Gmail.
If it's not a Gmail account, use Gmail to import the account.
One of the benefits is that deleted mail is saved on Google servers for a month (I think)

Thanks greenman I will try that. For your information the problem is the same with mobile or wifi. I don't think the text is white on white but if it is I have tried changing the background (men->background colour) with no effect.
I will try your suggestion and get back to post here to let you know how it goes.

Hi all, well I think I have solved my problem. I used Android Assistant to find out what processes were running and found an Ad related one. I located the corresponding programme, it was not a system one or one I had installed so I can only guess it installed from one of the spam emails I had received. I uninstalled it and all is now well.
