    Restore and Apps question

Ok first of all I would like to restore my samsung to the original firmware it had when I bought it. But not just the firmware the CSC and everything. Because I think I may have altered it which is why Kies cant recognise my phone correctly. I bought it from 02(UK) so if anyone can help me with that, that would be greatly appreciated.Like tell me all the exact files to patch. Also if I move all the apps that I want the data saved for to SD card will that prevent me losing the saved data for when I have a factory reset etc.? Sorry if that sounds confusing :/
    Also my current firware is:

That is correct for the latest O2 ICS FW. What does Kies say? There are no updates available to that version as yet?

It says the device does not support upgrading via Kies...I just thought something was wrong as the battery life is terrible with this firmware and it doesnt really have all the features that some phones have with ICS :/ Like the look is kinda different too even if you take off go launcher

Its Samsungs version of ICS not Googles version. If you want Googles version search for F1 Nexus ROM and flash it. Phone must be unlocked first though. O2 will send you unlock code on request....

Oh right Ok thanks as long as theres nothing wrong with it its fine. Any reason for the 6-8 hour battery life? Before it used to last all day now it barely lasts a school day

I guess you need to recalibrate your battery.... Let it run down till it turns off itself. Leave off and recharge to full in one go with wall charger. When full disconnect charger and remove battery for 5 mins. Put back together and use normally. Sometimes you have to do this twice but mostly once is enough.

I have an ex O2 S2 and carried out an unlock and debrand.
All explained here on giffgaff link:

Only difference is that my final firmware is the open version (XEU)
Now my phone is recognised by Kies - although never use it.
