    Problem with on-screen keypad

I have a problem with my Samsung Galaxy Ace plus. When calling a call centre where you have to select options on the keypad while you are on the call, I go to press numbers but the keypad keeps disappearing every time my finger goes near a number. I'm finding this quite annoying now. Does anybody know how to stop this from happening?
    Thanks

Don't know about Ace, but in my Galaxy S2 you can go to Settings > Phone and de-select proximity sensor.
That's what is turning on and off your display.
Alternatively, you could use headphones, or go on speakerphone.

Sorry to rake up an old thread but I just had a similar problem...

The small green short cut on the home screen has disappeared completely forcing me to reset the whole phone again..

    Whats happening?

    Thank you.........

Hi, i have a weird problem with samsung galaxy s2:
ocassionally when having a conversation and trying to finish it, the touch screen seems unresponsive, so i am not able to press any touch screen buttons to finish the conversation (which means i have to wait until the other person hangs up). Sometimes i have to push 'switch on' button to be able to use my phone again. It seems meanwhile the light sensor has a red light on.
Had anyone of you ever have this problem?
