Replace ICS Bluetooth software with GB version?

Hi again all

After having problems with me phone and my in car stereo, via bluetooth, i would like to know if it is possible to replace the Bluetooth software that comes with ICS with the version that comes with GB.

If it is how do i accomplish it.

It is possible to decompile the blutooth aspect of GB and port it to ICS but how it would work with the ICS framework is anyones guess.....

Looking at the GB FW there are a few BT files:
BluetoothAvrcp.apk, BluetoothOpp.apk, BluetoothPbap.apk, BluetoothTestMode.apk, BrcmBluetoothServices.apk

I think i may just have to try it RichH, just to satisfy myself whether it will or won't work.

Should be straight forward enough to try.... I notice on another post you have reflashed GB so easy enough to copy the BT .apk fikles from there. Be interesting to know if it works...

Have found another solution RichH, i have flashed F1 GalaxyNexus S Rom which appears so far to have solved the problem.

Found that a few others were suffering the same problem as me on another post and pointed me here http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1601518

It would appear that the problem lies with ICS 4.0.3 but appears corrected in ICS 4.0.4.

Ahhh, good. I expect a few issues will get ironed out with .4. There are a few on here that run that ROM with good reports too.
