    Basic Navigation use ?

Newbie here and not really a tech guy. Problem: I'm gonna buy the New S3 and i need navigation. I'm looking into a seperate GPS, but heard that the navigation on the S2 and S3 is good. All I find so far is links to extra apps. What about the basic installed Nav app on the phone. What I need is functionality and voice guided navigation. Can I enter multiple destinations for 1 trip? So over all, what does the basic app do and why all the other apps. I live on a small island in the Dutch Caribbean and do have official retailers here, but they can't help. Others with a phone can't help either due to the lack of decent internet connection. A lot of apps can not be downloaded in our country.
Thx. in advance for your input. If I overlooked a threat, then sorry. Let me know.

The Google maps application on the Sx is fine, but requires a data link to function. The best approach, in my opinion, is to have on board maps, and the one I have used for many years is CoPilot. There is a free version in the Play Store, but comes without voice guidance, but may be good to try - and ensure they have maps for your location.

Thx. Greenman. Location for use is the US, forgot to mention that. Definitely wish to have voice guidance since it will be used on the motorcycle as well and the less you need to watch the screen the better.
