    Can't view some photo's

Hi all , I have a problem viewing some photo's while others are fine . I took the photo's at the same place on the same day and when I go to view them some open fine and a couple of others open for a couple of seconds and then the screen turns black with a grey box in the middle of the screen with a white icon in the middle with what looks like a lightning strike in the top right hand corner, anyone have any idea's please, many Thanks Robert

Hello Fordguy1, what app are you using to view the photos, are you using the picture viewer from the camera, the gallery app or a 3rd party app?

I would transfer all the photos you took that day to a PC and check if you can view them there. If you can view them all then it's a problem on your phone or with the app you're using to view the photos.

Potentially if you are storing the photos on an external sd then there could be corrupt sectors on the Sd card.

Hi Tufftoad, thanks for your reply. I just view my photos through the gallery app on the phone and have dowloaded the same photo's to my laptop and can view them fine on there so a corrupt SD card maybe the answer. Thanks for your reply , much appreciated , cheers fordguy1

If the SD Card was corrupt then you may not be able to copy the data from the SD card to the Pc.....thinking about it.

You could try running a scan on the sd card to check for bad sectors. It could be a software issue but you may have encountered it before it was.
