Hello! and HELP!!... I'm an Idiot!!!

Today I decided to root my i900... and failed!, infact my phone is now stuck firmly on the reboot screen!!... any help on fixing this will be greatly recieved!.

My phone is an i900 on t-mobile UK, running ics

    1. I downloaded an insecure kernel
    2. downloaded and ran odin 3
    3. ran the insecure kernel in the pda box, auto reboot and F.reset time were the only boxes ticked
    4. phone went to reboot, odin3 three said it passed but the phone is frozen on reboot

I have since tried running several secure and insecure kernels since but no joy... I think i may need the original kernel???... I have no idea

Anyone who can help please please please do!!!"

Either flash the bootloader file or try flashing original firmware again.

    Phew!!!

Found this through google and all is well with my phone again!

"Unfortunately, the process android.process.acore has stopped."acore is responsible for your contact data. Some ROMs have incompatible versions of the database which is why they recommend wiping /data . You will get this error if you don't wipe or if you do a file-type restore which includes the contact data. The fix is easy: keep dismissing the error and go to Settings > Accounts & sync > toggle to "Off" > back > Apps > All > Contacts Storage > Force Stop > OK > Clear Data > OK. Reboot, re-enable sync, and all your contacts should sync back from Google and be stored in a compatible format for your ROM. I went from from Revolution 2.1.2 to Axi0m 2.4 with no wipe at all and this is the only fix required so far."

Wiping cache and data is what I would have recommended, especially when changing firmware.
    Good to see you're sorted.
