So far i've found a few minor niggles.

    1. Email accounts won't self configure has to be done manually.
    2. Although i've solved the problem with the phone rebooting i have lost the track name, artist, album etc displaying on the stereo.

As the name suggests it is nexus orientated.

Other than that it seems a very nice smooth rom, but should i encounter anymore problems i'll let ya know

I have exactly the same problem. I have this Sony MEX-BT3900U car stereo, and SGSII.

In my case what I have noticed, is that the phone reboots if the bluetooth link is connected. It doesn't even require to play anything. About 30 minutes of link being established, phone just hungs up, dies and reboots without the logo or anything.

I haven't rooted this phone (yet) since it is my employees property. All I have done is updated via KIES the latest update available.

Could you describe what is the exact cause of this problem? Is it the ROM or ? Since if I can avoid this by rooting phone and going back to some better ROM than the original for example Darkys ROM or so, I just might root it and ignore other side effects.

    Hi kaardian

I found the problem seemed to be with the 4.0.3 FW upgrade, however when i installed the F1 Nexus FW the problem disappeared.

I did find though that i could not get the track/artist/album etc info to appear on the stereo but everything else worked fine.

I have now changed FW again, opting for the stock 4.0.4 (UK / Ireland), and have now found that all works as it should - No reboots, full bluetooth functionality plus album info etc appears on the stereo.

    Hope this helps

    Regards

    Mush

It seemed that there was new update waiting me after I plugged the phone to the computer. Don't know when Samsung has released the 4.0.4 version within a week or two I guess.

Anyways, I installed the update and tested it today while driving around my errands. So far it seems to be working. And I noticed that the commands from the steering wheel are transmitted faster than the 4.0.3 version, which is nice.

I am driving loner session next Thursday, and then I can figure out if it is working for real.

So I have now tested this 4.0.4 for a while. It seems to reboot the phone as well every now and then. First it worked for about an hour or so. Now it is pretty much 22 - 35 minutes, and then phone reboots.

The comfort is that that the phone recovers bit faster from this "soft boot". Screen dims in dark quickly, and once you reconnect to bluetooth, then it streams steadily again for next 22 to 35 minutes.

I have also noticed that there is no difference between any music applications. Spotify, Music Player, or any other. Even that you are on stand by via bluetooth does the same.

I have also tested with full battery, half empty battery, in charge, empty battery in charge, full battery and kept it charging. No effects...

So I'd appreciate if someone had any clue about this matter. It is pretty dangerous to toggle the phone while driving in dark, anyhow it keeps you awake, while monitoring the sudden end of music...

I don't know if it will help but I always ensure that i wipe/factory reset before and after an upgrade which i have found solves some problems.

An update to the situation. More testing while driving around. It seems that when ever something is using data connection, for example Spotify or email, that causes the 30 minute boot.
I disabled the data connections and used music player to play music. This how I had 1h 30 minutes, and I arrived back to home.

I also did the try the wipe and reset, but it didn't do anything.

One thing that had some effect on the frequency of the reboot was to uninstall GoLauncher. Using TWLauncer I had longest uptime so far. Also when ever something is updating while streaming through bluetooth that is the most likely situation to cause boot.
