CheckFus will only report ICS FW because that's what you are searching for (LPD). Just search for "OXX"

Can you do this, and report back on the findings:
On your phone dialer put in *#1234#

If you are on ICS I suspect it will be this from sammobile.com :

    I9100XWLPD 4.0.3 2012 May I9100NEELP4 Nordic countries

To go to a gingerbread firmware you will need this:

    I9100XWKI8. 2.3.5 2011 October I9100OXXKI2 Nordic countries
No I have this (reported by FusCheck):

    GT-I9100 I9100XXLPQ 4.0.3 2012 March I9100OXXLPD Nordic countries

    Dialing *#1234# gives me "Invalid MMI-code" ?

Did you use the stock dialer to dial*#1234# as this should give you a firmware list.

Best thing for you to do is visit sammobile and look for your firmware.
If FusCheck are correct you are looking for firmware with the 3 letters after the model number.
    So in your case OXX.

For a guide the video link I gave is very good, but you should also look at this site:

No I used Go-dialer. Stock dialer is better . It gives me:

    PDA: I9100XWLPD
    Phone: I9100XXLPW
    CSC: I9100NEELP4

I'll look at your link when my kids are sleeping, searching for that CSC on Sammobile only yields one (ICS).
    Thanks so far

    That's good.
    This firmware :
    PDA: I9100XWLPD
    Phone: I9100XXLPW
    CSC: I9100NEELP4

Is the most recent update - only ONE will show with those exact details as with each firmware change the last 3 digits change with the version.

The versions I gave you, the ICS one you have and the Gingerbread version are equally suitable for your phone.
I am in the UK and have installed firmware from Poland and Australia and both work perfectly.
It's the CSC version that gives the geographic location so ensures you have the right languages on your phone.

Ok I think I understand, so this should work:

    GT-I9100 I9100XWKI8 2.3.5 2011 October I9100OXXKI2 Nordic countries

    Right?

Yes it will work if that's what you want to do.

If all you want to do is unroot then simply carry out a factory reset and it will go back to the stock ICS unrooted.
    good luck.
