Music --sound booster

Can anybody reccomend a free alternative to the music player on the S2 or a sound booster for the std player,it is just the volume level I have an issue with...thanks.

I would recommend purchasing Voodoo Control Plus. There is a free version but I think you need the Dark Core kernel in order to use the free Voodoo Control.

The paid version should have no specific requirements.

Try Voodoo LOUDER which has been specifically designed for ICS. I find it works well!

Anyone know of an app that will just improve general sound quality when using the phone and listening to music without headphones.

You won't find an app that improves sound quality (i don't think at least), there will be apps with graphic equalizers etc which you can adjust. Poweramp and Winamp should have these.

After trying a few I went for Player Pro. I particularly like the extra large widget that takes out a full screen - sort of makes it look like I've got a purpose-built player.
