Email problem

When in the email app, In settings, account , Your Name as I said above.

I know, I did an update on the market store and it said "open" instead of update so I was able to transfer it from there.

"Your Name" Isn't there. Only Account Name, which names the mail box.

It is there - I am looking at it on mine now
It's beneath account name and above add signature.
I really think you ned to do a factory reset as obviously your phone is messed up....

101% not there.

Its a ball ache reseting my phone. Then having to download all apps.

Oh come on, if you want to resolve your problem it sometimes comes with a little bit of work.
Anyway, ICS has made it so much easier.
Go to Settings > Backup and reset.
Kies can backup other items.

You haven't said anything about carrying out a factory reset.
Get your information correct and then you might get some help.
Start by telling us your firmware by dialing *#1234#

Thanks for your help. I have deceided to leave this as it is. Having had conversations with other people on other forums, they were able to assist me and it's actually more common than I thought.

The OP has decided to live with it, from what I read, but their info on this site has constantly been more misinformation, so may be wrong.
Not helpful when consulting two forums at the same time.
