Where is the Desk Home app gone?
I can see it on market - google play (?) - but cannot download it. Says not available in my country or something...
Tried Market Enabler but that didnt help...
Then to make it worse I downloaded a the apk from two different URL's. Run the install and it just says it didnt install. No more...
Oh I have just re-flashed to a stock JW4 and rooted....
HELP!
May of found the problem...
I flashed what I thought was a stock rom.
Versions are now:
PDA: I9000XXJW4
PHONE: I9000XXJW4
CSC: I9000OXAJW5
Is the XAJW5 correct for the UK?

Ok, tried it on a Galaxy S2 that has never been rooted or fiddled with, and got the same problem. Not available for your country. The version I tried even had GB on the end!
What have they done to the market?
Don't know the app you're after, but if you have the latest version of Play Store, then go to My Apps and slide screen to the left to reveal all of the apps you've downloaded.
Thats the problem! I cant download it!
Then it's unlikely to be suitable for your firmware.
Two choices
1. Get the apk file and risk an installation.
2. Reverse any updates and go back to firmware that did work.
That's if you want to have the programme.
Another choice is you ook for an alternative.
What were the features you are now missing?

Im missing the program because when I place the phone in the dock it starts a clock and put the phone in silent mode...
I did try downloading an APK from somewhere but it just says did not install....
