KiesViaWifiAgent causing Macbook Air to go mad

Everytime I start-up my Mac, Kies Via Wifi Agent is running in the background and uses 90% of my CPU causing my battery to drain very quickly and my Mac to get very hot. I have to go into Activity Monitor and quit it each time.

Anyone else getting this issue?

I'm getting this issue on my mac also, but I haven't found any solutions to it.
I just make sure it stops running by going to activity monitor frequently and ending the process.

Rather than use Activity Monitor, have you tried to disable the daemon (background process) from starting in the first place?

Most likely places is a file in your home folder, Library, LaunchDaemons, and then something named com.samsung.kies or similar but containing the kies name?

Another place is via System Preferences, Accounts, Your username, Login Items, and then select the Kies item and press the minus button to delete it.

Or better yet, uninstall Kies for Mac completely? Depending on which Galaxy S, SII, or SIII, you could probably use Kies Air from the app store and then just use Safari/Firefox on the Mac to access all the data on the phone via a web browser interface. A lot less invasive.
