    Who has ordered one then?

Who has pre ordered the Galaxy S 3 and what did you go for?

I called up Phones 4 U on the Thursday night and ordered it.

    24m, 900mins, Unlimited texts and 1GB. £33.50pm on Orange.

(I know 900mins is overkill but he said he would do it cheaper than the 600m deal at £36pm so I cant complain)

Just pre-ordered mine from Vodaphone themselves - 24ths, 600 mins, Unlimited text, 1Gb data = £36 per month. Only concession I could wring out of them was to get the handset for free instead of £29.

Wanted to stay with Vodaphone and didn't want to change my number which stopped me getting a cheaper deal from 3rd party e.g. mobiles.co.uk. Some really good deals here though.

Really looking forward to getting the old mitts on the S3. I hear it's not a big step up from the great S2 but as an S owner, it'll be a huge jump.

Just pre-ordered mine from Amazon as I've never had a problem with them to date, same price as Deepmeister. Blue, naturally.

Had a call from Virgin to discuss my next phone prior to that. Told them I wanted an S3 for what I'm paying now, was told no chance as the triple eye is a £700 phone, did I want a 12 month contract at £15 and keep my SGS. I said no thanks.

So I worked it out and I can get a triple eye, send off my SGS for cash, get a £10 rolling 30 day contract with more stuff than I need for less over two years than I'm paying now.
I could be wrong, I usually am. (Because it's only a phone)

    .

................ and go with giffgaff and for £10 a month you get unlimited internet to get the most from your S3, and on top of that 250 call minutes, unlimited text and free calls to other giffgaff customers.

I got this from GSM. Some reason why you should get one/upgrade

27 reasons why s3 is better than s2
    Camera:
Much better battery life (2100 mAh)
    0 shutter lag
    Front camera HD video
Burst shots (up to 20 pics)
    Backside illuminated sensor
    Space:
    upto 64 GB internal
can upgrade to 64 GB microsd card
50 GB free Dropbox storage (for 2 years)
64+64+50=178GB of storage and if the 2 years has expired 64+64=128 GB
    Other features:
    Bluetooth 4.0
    720p screen
    Gorilla glass 2
NFC support (S-beam can transfer files upto 300Mbps)
    Advanced Voice Commands
Quad core Exynos 4212 1.4 Ghz (Benchmark shows its the fastest chip ever and uses less power)
    Faster Mali-400 GPU
Pop up play (multitask while watching a video)
    Direct call
    Wireless charging support
    Improved Wi-fi
    Thinner bezel
Slimline back (not a chin like the s2 has)
    More ergonomic design
GLONASS support (more accurate than GPS)
    Smart Alert
    Smart Stay (Eyeball tracking)
    LED notification light
Allshare cast (Allows you to mirror your screen onto a TV)

The people I'm most likely to call are all on Virgin, the only two people I'm aware of using GuffFaff are you and the mighty Goots. With the £10 Virgin sim only 30 day contract I get 3000 Virgin minutes, 250 other minutes, 5000 texts & 1GB data. As most 'unlimited' data plans seem to have a fair use 1GB cap anyway I think I'll be OK. I tend not to get anywhere near that as I update my apps via Wifi at home but it's nice to have the ability there if needed. The next plan down is £7 and gives 500MB data, so for an extra £3 the £10 seems the best option for me.
