wifi not connecting

I've had my Galaxy S II for 5 months now and have always gotten it connected to my home's wifi. Now for some reason it's not connecting. My wifi is up and running fine (connected on my PC as I type this), the password is set fine for the Galaxy, but instead of connecting, Settings only says "Saved, secured with WPA/WPA2" after clicking "Connect". Signal strength is noted as "Excellent". I've tried re-entering the password several times, but the same results every time. Any idea what else I can do?

Start by rebooting your router and see if that helps....

Have you installed any apps recently or had a firmware update?

If not try finding your home connection on your phone, and ask your phone to forget it.
Then re scan for your wifi again and reinsert password.

So, the problem appears to have been a conflict or something with the WiFi Keyboard application by Ivan Volosyuk. I read about this app in a Galaxy S II tips and tricks sheet (http://www.careace.net/2011/10/12/sa...urrently-tips/) and installed it but I never got it working because after installing it, I lost my wifi. I had just installed the app around the same time I had lost my wifi connection. I wasn't sure if it was before or after the install, but they did happen around the same time. I uninstalled the app, but nothing changed. However, yesterday morning after booting up the phone the day after installing and uninstalling the app, my wifi connected. It may be purely coincidental, but I somehow doubt it. I'm not sure if it was a setting or what, I had followed the rather obtuse directions for the app after I installed it.
