As you can see there are many methods of carrying out the task of transferring music.
If any, or none of these methods are OK for you or you need any further help with this, please let us know.

Good luck with it. A lot of us have escaped Apple and would never go back. Like everything else its easy when you know how and certainly worth it once you have made the phone your own.

When I bought my iPod years ago I was a bit annoyed to find I was being forced to use iTunes...

Welcome to the free world, it can be a bit daunting. Your expectations were high as you were told Android was 'much better', it's just different in a better way. When you've got over your initial adjustment hopefully you'll enjoy your new phone.
I could be wrong, I usually am. (Because it's only a phone)

Couldn't agree more! I'm an old Phart (60+) and have been using a Nokia 3310. Told I had to "get with it" and update. Bought 2 unlocked s 2's and have thrown mine at the wall. The good lady is persevering!
Now I'm really into new technology but there is absolutely no logic in this piece of crap. Took me an hour to find out how to delete an unwanted sms! Had an incoming call and did what the quick guide said and the green thing just bounced back to the left hand side. Have now found out how to answer using the home button.
Have entered all the right things to get to the home wifi - no internet. Wast of money!

Have you posted in the help section to see if somebody can get your wifi connection set up? It's probably something quite simple but you're so frustrated, you can't see what it is, been there myself many a time.

If you like technology, I'm sure you will start to enjoy your phone with a little help from people on here. Not many problems can't be solved with the right guidance.

There is no doubt the transition from a nokia 3310 to a galaxy S2 will present you with a very steep learning curve.
I've gone from a basic phone to Windows mobile to early android to Galaxy S2, and each time it was a challenge to get my head around how it works.

Hopefully, if you encounter any problems you will be helped by members on here.

Sounds like you sorted your SMS, deletion, and the procedure used is very similar in other features...there is in fact a good logic.

Answering calls with the green thing is a matter of timing. Must admit when I first got my S2 I couldn't answer a call either. The secret is to slide and keep your finger on screen a little longer, otherwise it will bounce back.

Regarding home wifi, press Menu (hidden left button) > Settings > Wireless and network >Wi-Fi settings
Make sure that Wi-Fi is ticked to activate (you can do this from the Home screen by dragging down the 'Notifications 'bar)

Your home wifi should be listed under Wi-Fi networks.
Tap on it, and put in your security code.
    That should connect you.
If not, tap on your wi-fi then Menu and ask to 'Forget'
This will force your phone to search again.

If still not working, it may be that you have to 'Use a static IP' (this option is found in 'Menu' > Advanced.

If still a problem let us know which WiFi router you are using.
