    Screen keeps reloading

I have recently upgraded to a Galaxy S2 and during the past week have noticed that the 'welcome screen'' (which displays the Samsung 'S' along with the name of the device) is regularly reloading. The phone does not fully 'reboot' but this is becoming increasingly frustrating and would be grateful for any advice on how to resolve it. Thanks

Have you also updated the operating system or firmware to ICS?
If so, and you did not carry out a factory reset and Clear cache then this would explain your reboots.

Thanks - not sure what ICS is but I haven't updated the operating system at all. One thing I have done is that because of problems with Kies not syncing data properly, I have changed to CompanionLink as the software for syncing calendar and tasks. Not sure if that could be a factor?

Could well be. The reboots suggest a conflict, and as the S2's generally very stable I would remove the Companion link and see if that resolves it.
The main question is why Kies is not working for you. Is it Outlook calendar by any chance that you are trying to sync?

Thanks - yes it is Outlook calendar and when I started looking into the problems I was having with syncing, I found that there appeared to be a fairly common with Kies syncing with Outlook and I wasn't getting the answers I needed to resolve the problem. For example there seems to be no system for resolving issues directly with Kies.

The problem as I see it is cross platform, and the best solution is to sync outlook with your PC Google account/calendar and then with your phone, via Google sync. Not very elegant and requires a purchased application. But not heard of a more direct solution.

Thanks - if that is the best way to resolve the issue, do you know if Companion Link can do what you describe (as I have already purchased this) or would I need to subscribe to another software package? If the latter, do you have any you would recommend?
