Onlive Universal Controller

H folks,

I stupidly thought that the ICS upgrade would get this bluetooth controller to work with the Onlive app on my SGSII. Whilst it pairs and does control the phone, it seems to be random movements as all sorts of random mayhem begins as soon as you press any of the buttons. I'm going to investigate this a little more but has anyone else tried this?

I have an HDMI output and the idea of my little phone being a portable games console capable of playing games ike Arkham City is too much for the technophile in me, especially as I travel a lot.

Did you carry out a factory reset and wipe cache after upgrading from Gingerbread?
if not you could do it now.

The controller isn't officially supported so I guess until they officially do something, it won't work. I was just wondering if there was a cute little app that would somehow act as the interface, and push the right controls into the onlive app.... I must be a dreamer.

What would the factory reset do, is this just a 'turn it off and on again' type of deal? (I.e. do you have specific knowledge of this helping or is this a generic thing to do to eliminate a bunged up phone)

I guess I was hoping someone had it working already..

Factory reset is a advised procedure when changing from Gingerbread to ICS or back again.
The procedure clears up any problems such as freezing/shut downs that can occur.
If the controller is not officially supported then a factory Reset may not resolve your problem and therefore as it clears data, is not something to be done lightly.
