Problems with TalkTalk emails after ICS upgrade

Hi Folks, new to this site.
I have had a galaxy S2 for about a year, and it has worked smoothly with my talktalk emails arriving along with Gmail. I forget how I set that up, but it must have been easy and automated.
Last night I upgraded to ICS and found most of my setting, Apps, page widget structures were blitzed. I tried to restore to myu position a week ago and it failed, saying no can do.
I have spent all day getting things back in order, but cannot get my email working. My primary email that everyone has, is a talktalk address, as they are my service provider at home. I can set up the gmail easily, but no one has that email.
I cannot for the life of me add the talk talk account.
Can anyone out there help ?

Hi, if when inputting your mail details you get a popup saying cannot complete/connect just click continue/OK, it worked for me.
