Phone turns off and Not Turning on

Hi,

I have a 4month old Galaxy S2 GT-i1900.
It went off automatically while browsing and then didn't turn on again.
Tried removing battery and put again. Did not work also.

Luckily it was under warranty. The service center people said the mother board is gone.
They replaced it and fixed the phone. But did not give a feedback like how it happen or what I can do to prevent it in future.

Anybody encountered the same issue?
please let me know.

It could happen any number of ways and was probably down to a manufacturing fault.

You didn't cause it if you were using your phone as intended and it's not a common problem.

Good job these things come with a two year guarantee - another reason why I went for the SGS instead of the iPhone 4.
