No - not the usual complaint, just bemused. Since updating to ICS, so far I have been getting MUCH better battery life. At least 50% improvement. Can't believe it. Why would this be?

Hey don't complain, most people have much worse battery life after updating to ICS.
Samsung Galaxy SII GT-I9100. Stock ICS LPT 4.0.4, Rooted with CF-Root. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, 16GB, Wi-Fi, Jelly Bean 4.1.1.

When I installed an early ICS release my battery was better for a while, and then deteriorated.
Carried out the suggestion to fully discharge the phone, before fully charging, removing battery and then re plugged in charger until full once more. Did this twice and much improved.
