I have accidently deleted my camera photos on my Samsung Galaxy s2 there are around 300 or so photos, they mean a lot to me, they are my kids and stuff, I need to know if there is any chance that I can get these photos back, I have transfered some photos prior to the 7th of April 2012 but photos that was taken after the 7th I have nothing it those photos I have lost, I have selected MY FILES app and then DCIM and then CAMERA and then CACHE, all dates and times underneath those long numbers coresponce to the photo being taken, when I try and open the file it simply says NO APPLICATION CAN PERFORM THIS ACTION......please can someone help...I have not taken any photos since the day I deleted them and that was the 21st.
    Many Thanks

Adding any data to where the photo's were stored may result in them being unrecoverable (App data, music, videos ect).

There maybe an app in the market that could recover them,

or your best bet, Download a file recover program onto your PC. Connect your phone in Mass storage mode (NOT kies), run the program to recover files.

There's a couple of threads on here about this with some links to some recommended recovery software.

    Try installing Astro file manager.
After its recent update finding picture files has become easier.

Edit: There's an app here, but you have to be rooted :

if you still have the dcim cache folder remove it from your phone to pc. the pics are still there but you wont get them back with recovery.wen you put them on your pc they will come up as tec files which your pc wont open either so you need to no how to change them from tec to jpg.
it takes ages to do cos you have to do each file seperately but its worth it to get back what you lost.... :-)
