Wifi connection issue with Netgear DG834GUv5

    Hey guys.

My new Galaxy s2 is having trouble connecting to my routers Wifi, a netgear DG834GUv5. it says

    Saved, secured with WPA...
    connecting...
    authorising...
    Authentication problem...

    I have:
    - tried and tested the password countless times. It is correct.
    - I've updated the router firmware.
    - changed the router channels
    - tried disabling mac filtering (not an option on this router version aparrently)
    - adding phone manually via IP.

I can get it to connect fine if I disable the routers security entirely, but I would not want to keep that up at all. I would like to be able to connect at home. I've been looking up things on the internet for days now, and am getting desperate.

    Please help!

You don't have an access list set up on it, do you?
I could be wrong, I usually am. (Because it's only a phone)

Googling your router model comes up with plenty of people having problems.
    As to a solution???
Looking at what you've already done there's little else to suggest other than turn off your router and pull out the plug and leave for at least 10 minutes for any residual memory to leak.
    Reconnect and try again.

Failing that - get the piggy bank out !!
