Only changed if you install non stock Roms.

If you're getting into this, well worth purchasing 'Triangle Away' from Google Play. Automatically gets rid of yellow triangle if using Chainfire kernel and resets counter.

Just a word of caution if your going to flash with out unlocking, It can cause problems. I know someone that went ahead and flashed with a locked phone and it just didn't work properly, he had all sorts of problems.

Thank you Richardj. My initial thoughts were that it would be wiser to unlock first, but hadn't heard of anyone having problems flashing a locked phone.

There's a thread on it over at XDA. It was the same on the Galaxy S to.
I've had to sort out a few phones for people that have done this, and it's hard work getting them up and running again.
