Email Notification tone?????

Hi guys
my SGS currently has the same notification tone for texts and emails. I've set different text and email tones in the past but can't remember how I did it.

Can anyone please help?

You can set a general tone for notifications (from the sound menu in settigns) which will apply to all notifications.

If you then want to set a tone for different types of notifications then you will need to enter each inidiviual app and do so from the app itself. Stock E-mail app will allow this but the stock GMail app won't.

You could also use Zedge to set tones.

I had only set up my gmail account. I had forgotten to set up the stock email account also. Now I've done that I've set a different tone for my emails

lol, he's saying that you can have a different tone for each notification for SMS, email or IMS. If you wanted to do that, then you can do so by setting the notification tone in each type of app.
