    Do i have Ice Cream or not?

    Just updated my Galaxy S2 via usb to pc and kies, phone now has some different touches but when i look at reviews for the Ice Cream Sandwich update there are things which i don't have like the touch keys at the bottom. My phone is showing the following:

    Android version 4.0.3
    Baseband version I9100NELP2
    Kernal version 3.0.15-I9100XXLPQ-CL223505
    se.infra@SEP-94#3
    Build number IML74K.XXLPQ

    Is this the latest software?

    Yes you do 4.0.3 is ICS or Ice Cream.

    What your looking at on techradar is ICS running on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus S. The nexus doesn't have any physical buttons at the bottom so has on screen touch buttons as seen at techradar. Samsung has modified ICS for the S II to accommodate the buttons at the bottom, and added touchwiz4.
    Samsung Galaxy SII GT-I9100. Stock ICS LPT 4.0.4, Rooted with CF-Root. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, 16GB, Wi-Fi, Jelly Bean 4.1.1.

    wow, I only have Android 2.3.4.
    If I upgrade using Kies, will it change/lose any of my stuf?

    If you upgrade via Kies I think it's No Wipe - meaning your shouldn't lose anything.
    HOWEVER - if you don't do a factory Reset and wipe cache then you are likely to have problems with your ICS update, and that will lose you data, apps ,and contacts (saved on phone)
