I recently brought a Casio GShock GT 6900, which uses Bluetooth 4 to connect to android smartphones. I brought it because one website said that it supported the S2. It doesn't...Actually looks like nothing supports it yet.
After several hours trying to get it to pair, I realised that my S2 only supports Bluetooth 3.0. Maybe its because its on Gingerbread, but I've also tried with a Nexus on Ice Cream Sandwich - which also uses the same broadcom BCM4330 module - and that also only supports Bluetooth 3 as well. (PS: BCM4330 supports Bluetooth 4.0...)
Is there anyway I can get Bluetooth 4.0 on my s2? Bit of a first world problem I know, but it would solve some real world problems for me.
Appreciate the help.
