    Since upgrading, I have had the following problems :

    The first is I can not seem to be able to set the phone to custom ring tones for individual contacts. In the contacts list it shows the tune as being set, but only rings with the default tone, which is one of my own I have managed to use. I have tried several ways, and the tone I am trying to use also now appears in ring tones list.

    When opening an email, to see it in what I call the correct format, I have to press on the download more link at the bottom. Is there a way to adjust the settings to allow this.

    The battery, but I have picked up some good tips from here regarding that so will give it a go.

    Any advice gratefully received.

    I do not receive calls until I restart the device...
    I had similar problem with the previous version, but it was from time to time... since I got the update with sandwich I got it every day...
    Any solutions or any body else having the same issue?

    If you've come from Gingerbread to ICS then you should have wiped data and cache.
    But your problem could also be related to poor network link. Try removing the battery and leave for 10 minutes before replacing. This will allow you to connect with a clean link.

    Phone shutting down

    Hey all!

    I got unlocked sgs2 phone, and installing ICS went smoothly. Problems begun bit later when my phone suddenly started to reset itself. I know some other ppl have had the same problems but seems my problem "evolved" Now my phone does that, and in addition it sometimes shuts itself down, and i cant get power back on, nor it wont detect if i put it in charger. Only way to resolve this "lock-down" is to remove battery completely and put it back. After this procedure phone starts normally. My phone did go to maintenance once, and they replaced old battery with new one. Phone worked for four days normally, after that it begun to shut itself down again. I called to Samsung in my country (Finland) and they said they will ask their "professionals" about this. Two days later they sent mail that they cant help me with this problem, and i should send my phone again to maintenance.
    Im really getting frustrated with this. Its great phone overall, but my wife keeps laughing at me, as i had before iPhone which never had these problems, and i told when i was buying Samsung that " im getting better phone"..obviously this "bug" makes me regret saying such words.

    Did you carry out a factory reset & clear cache when coming from Gingerbread to ICS?
    This sounds like one of those problems.
    You can do it now.

    Well... After update to ICS 4.0.3 i have those problems.

    1 ). Random Freeze and/or shut down.
    2 ). No more working Voice UpLink and Voice DownLink ( Internal audio line ).
    3 ). Much shorter battery life.

    Please Fix thise Bugs !!!!

    Erm, no point asking people here to fix "these bugs". The people on here are users of various galaxy phones, not technical support or engineers or software designers for Samsung.

    Did you wipe before and after you updated?
