Well I will start :

Upgraded my unbranded phone (XEU) yesterday via KIES.

Main problem I am having is that the wifi indicator is never white it remains grey even when I am connected to wifi.

Secondly I am disappointed with the visual appearance of the the new firmware I thought I would get a different look to my dock similar to the one you get if you downloaded go launcher.

Finally still have pink spot which I have always thought would be resolved with ICS.

Please post your issues, hopefully a Samsung rep will read this and provide fixes. Share your concerns someone on this forum may be able to help.

I don't use wifi so no idea about that, no other problems apart from the dreaded pink spot in the camera which I don't believe any update will cure (just my opinion).

The rest is running nice and smooth for me and I'm very happy with it.

I would have liked a more blue theme to it, I like the colour blue, lol but that's just a personal thing, not a necessity and if I wanted to do that, i could do it by flashing custom rom and theming it that way.

To pretty my phone up a bit I use Apex launcher, Go SMS and Go keyboard.

All in all I am very happy with the update and functionality and reliability are far more important to me than how it looks.

Hi, i upgraded to ics via kies ( i have unbranded carphone warehouse s2).
For the first coupe of hours whatever app i opened (youtube, appy geek, play books to name a few)
they all crashed/froze and restarted the phone. Since i have had some updates and
some are now working, not tried them all yet. Not impressed with layout/ display of ics as mentioned by mik2010, could have been better!!!
Will note any other prob's/quirks when they appear.........

Hi, updated my XEU SGS2 yesterday via Kies, it was a very very, slow process.....
Now, my first issue is volume!! Its terrible, far worse than the previous Gingerbread 2.3.4
2nd Issue, all my downloaded apps vanished, which I was expecting, but I was lead to believe that I could easily re download from market, because they would stand out in some way that indicated I had had them before, but none are!! Only some of the pre loaded ones stood out, as they had an "update" status

Anybody help with the volume issues? they are across the board.......

Re: your Google apps. Go to Google Play > My Apps - you can now slide the screen left to reveal All apps you have downloaded from Google Play (and I still hate that title - but I'll get over it)

I have no issues with ICS, in fact I think it's a great upgrade. Admit it took me around 2 weeks to get everything running smoothly and battery to stabilise and get phone set up the way I wanted it but that's all part of the fun !!
I found a lot of what I thought initially were issues was because I hadn't set the phone up to my liking (remember a clean ICS install will be just that with none of your previous options ticked/unticked etc).
Big + for me is signal strength, wifi range and GPS lock speed/stabilty....

Easier to see your apps if you goo to Google Play on a PC and log in. You will see a tab saying "My Apps". Go into that and you will see everything you have downloaded, even if you have deleted any from your phone prior to upgrading and on any Android phones that have been linked to your Google account. Then just clickk the app and select "install" and your app will be placed on your phone OTA.....

HOLD THE FRONT PAGE!!!! FOUND ANOTHER MY APPS SECTION, LOOKS LIKE SOME OF MY APPS ARE IN THERE. I WILL COME BACK TO CONFIRM IF THEY ARE ALL THERE!!!!!
