Me too. Since the software update, the "internet" app doesn't work. This means Google doesn't work. ALso can't download anything from emails. Interestingly, Firefox works, and I can access the internet and Google from this app. Doesn't help with downloads from website. Help!!!
There are many threads about this on here with very useful tips, quicker to read them than me type it all out again!

In a nutshell if you updated from Gingerbread to ICS you should have wiped data and cache first to ensure a clean install.
You can still do that now but have to backup.
This can be done via Kies or Kies Air or my preferred choice for a wireless connection is Airdroid.
Airdroid also lets you receive and reply to your SMS via your computer.

I updated my galaxy note to ice cream sandwich. Update was sucessful. After update it is not connecting to kies with usb cable, it trys to connect for a long time and ends up with a message
"THIS DEVICE IS NOT SUPPORTED BY KIES 2, MAKE SURE THAT YOUR DEVICE IS SUPPORTED AND TRY AGAIN".
It connects through wi fi.
Latest version of kies is installed. Operating system is windows xp. The upgrade was done through kies.
Already reinstalled the driver several times. USB debugging in developer options is also unticked.
