Washed out colours after ICS update

Has anyone else noticed screen colours look a bit washed out after an ICS update on SII? Blues especially. Have played with the brightness but doesn't really effect the colours. Before ICS I was viewing on 'standard' but now using 'dynamic' to make up for the difference.

    Anyone else experienced anything similar?

    Thanks

yes i have the same problem. i used to use 'standard' but now it looks dull and the colours are not as defined as before, so also changed to 'dynamic' to make up, but then everything in overexposed

This is strange as I haven't heard of this on the S2 forums.
Wonder if it's specific to a network operator download?
    Which ICS did you receive?

I noticed it straight away as soon as my phone restarted after the update. Build No; IML.74.XXLPQ.

It is a Three network phone and I updated it with Kies via USB.

Could the problem be down to the Auto Adjust Screen Power this analyses images and reduces brightness to save battery life. I do not think this was on Gingerbread. I am not a technical person but just thought I would offer my contribution.

no, the screen brightness is normal and the auto adjust is turned off. It is just a little adjustment in the colour/contrast. Maybe they have found away to save a few % of battery life by adjusting the colours?

Hi had same problem after i used the browser, in the menu list there is a setting for Brightness/Colour, when i had it on level 3 and exited the browser it seemed the setting applied to the whole phone not just the browser so i went back into the browser and set it back to default and now the screen colours are back to normal, hope this helps.
You may have to set it to level 3 then back to default t get it to wrk
