Getting tired of S2 problems

long press brings up "share via", the only options there are Allshare and Picassa. The photo is mine, I just took it and it is in gallery. If you have v4.0.3, just try it. The only way I have found is to attach it to a message, which is not good enough. Thanks Greenman, it seems that in all things in life, you win some then you lose some!

Just solved it. If I have a photo in gallery, all I need to do is press the minimised image in Gallery until a green arrow appears on it. Then press "Share via" and there is then an email option. But once you expand the image to full screen mode, the email option disappears, just Allshar and Picassa. Thanks Greenman. All solved.

Thanks for pointing that out and sharing solution.
recently changed back to Gingerbread so couldn't confirm your findings.
In GB my photo's in full screen and long press offer email as an option.
Is ICS an update or downgrade - sometimes I wonder.

For me it a wonderfully stable upgrade, no more forced closures or the brightness of my screen taking on a life of its own. All finally works.

Seriously thinking about whether i should get the sgs3 for a new phone if the issues ive experienced with kies will still be present.

If Kies is your reason for NOT getting the S3 then just stop using Kies.
There are better ways of doing all that Kies does (or doesn't)
Kies,even after the update, is still not 100%

Are there particular tasks that you would like to carry out with Kies and perhaps we can suggest better alternatives.

The first few tries with Kies a few months ago had my heart racing, but with the latest upgrade all went well, I even upgraded my die-hard Apple friend's wife's S2 (Vodaphone) and all went very well. This die-hard Apple fan is now switching to Samsung in a few months when his contract runs out. Right now, Kies does work!
