How do I root O2 UK ICS?

Despite searching I can't find a clear answer on this one. I'm on O2 (UK) ICS with O2 branded firmware and I want to root. I'm not sure if I can use Doomlords tool as ICS is not mentioned. I don't want to debrand, just root. Any tips please?

Not on O2 firmware (although on O2) and have always used the Odin flash of an insecure kernel. Works very well, and now takes seconds to do. But as a first timer you will have the added annoyance of the yellow triangle at boot up. Various ways of getting rid of it, but is there an easier way?
    Well, yes.
Today I rooted my Dutch firmware using this method, and worked a treat :

First download CWM file from Internet and save it in SD card then reboot the recovery. Now select apply update from external storage. Now select CWM file and install it from SD card. Last reboot your device.
