Problems updating to 4.0 and changing CSC

I need help updating to android 4.0. I have been going trough pages and reading, but there is simply too much stuff that i cant understand. Here is the situation: I can't update to android 4.0 through kies. What i need to do?

    Model number: GT.i9100
    Android version: 2.3.4
    Baseband version: I9100XXKG1
    Kernel version: 2.6.35.7-i9100XXKG1-CL349526 se.infra@SEP-39 #2
    Build number: Gingerbread.XXKG1

I have rooted my phone earlier, installed custom ROM, and then installed android 2.3.4 stock firmware. Information above tells everything about my SGS2. I can't find android 4.0 firmware download links, or instructions how to even do it. I have odin, and before i rooted my phone i took this information up what my phone used to be

    baseband 19100xxki4
    kernel i9100xwki8

To be hones, i don't know what those even mean. I only know that now they are different, and because my CSC is wrong i cant update with kies. I installed application called CSC select and it says my CSC is KOR. I also read that it needed to be NEE(nordic countries), to be able to update with kies. How ever CSC select application doesn't have a NEE available...

I am pretty clueless what i needed to do now, would really apperciate if someone could give me some advice. I dont need my android 4.0 to be rooted.

Hi, Good to hear you have used Odin, as it makes it easier for me to help.
Do not worry about CSC now, as you have a phone unlocked to a network.
You need to get a firmware for your area, so look here:
    http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?p...00&r=1#regiona
Choose whichever you like and download the file.
    Now unzip it (password sammobile.com)
Open Odin and put the file in PDA.
On your phone make sure it is in USB debugging
Put your phone into Recovery and clear data and cache.
Connect your phone and look for yellow message.
    Start flash.
That is it, unless you want to root, in which case go to XDA Chainfire site.

Try putting in your usb and unplugging to see if there is debris in the socket.
If you have a problem, you can flash the firmware in Recovery, but not the Sammobile one.
Take a look at Wanam's Roms here: www.wanamlite.com

    Is your phone charging?
What about when you connect to computer. Is it recognised?
May be best to stick to Gingerbread for time being until you get your phone sorted.
ICS is still not considered ready by many users.
Heavy battery drain being one problem.

It charges when i plug it to a charger, is recognized when i plug into a computer. When unplugged still thinks it is plugged. when i boot it first it does is ''MTP initializing''(shows up the usb icon on upper left corner) and soon whole screen comes up with a USB synchronizing thing... i am still on 2.3.4...

It does sound as if your usb socket has got damaged. If you have a paint brush or cocktail stick just check there is nothing in there.
