Phantom device memory usage

I'm also having the same problem reported by fishter and others. My device memory keeps growing every day even if I do nothing with my android phone. In the last 40 days I did two factory resets because my device memory was exhausted. What's wrong about it? Can it be a virus? or Something else?. I hope someone get an explanation and solution of this problem.

It is possible that the space is been filled by system dump files. If you are rooted you can check in /Data to see what is in there. Also could be app cache files that are not been cleared but again you need root to investigate.
