Zagg's InvisibleShield was just unbearable to install. Installation of a screen protector should be an overall easy task.
But finally I'm done applying it and I'm not impressed. Days go by and the transparent layer seems to have already been penetrated by something, perhaps my keys in my pockets. It's disappointing for something meant to be a scratch protector. I observed that simple impacts and small concussion with blunt to moderately sharp objects can penetrate the so called "shield" as though nothing was even there. The so called "shield" is of poor quality, and certainly not of good use. Coupled with the frustrating installation process, I conclude that it's not worth it.
Another screen protector, Gadgetshieldz, was quite simple to install and turned to actually be a good shield against scratches.

I heard some great things about Zagg's screen protectors, I ordered a "full shield" about 4 days ago and I'm waiting for it to arrive. Yesterday a friend of mine came over who has a Samsung Galaxy S fascinate (ugly compared to the Vibrant imo) who actually has a Zagg Protector in place.. It looked terrible, she had told me it was a pain to install and after a month of having it on you can see the tiny pieces of foreign objects that had gotten their way underneath. It had too much grip, I don't think I'll like it, I don't swype or anything but I do enjoy the smooth feeling.. Maybe I'll pull out a sander an see if I can buff it up before I install it.

Edit: I just got it in the mail today.. What a pain to put on, I ran out of the liquid before I could do the backside. I tried the front 5 times to get it perfect (OCD maybe).. In the end, somehow, I got 4 tiny specs of dirt on the adhesive side of the shield and even washing with soap & hot water, scrub pad and various kitchen cleaning utensils I could NOT get the dirt out. It isn't exactly noticeable but I can see it. Not pleased.

On a good note, I actually love the feel.. I think they changed it because it is nothing like my friends. It is actually smooth and easy to glide my fingers across (nothing like the normal screen but it will work).

I'm i the only one here whso still has the one supplied on the phone when new on? Full protection, no need for fiddling around with and simple to remove all the decals all over the front of it. I did have to wait a week for the print on the cover to loosen up mind.

I haven't read through the whole of this thread but I am thinking - what is the point of a full body cover? This phone is highly is just made for being flashed/customised and a fair amount of doing that means battery out/battery in. I take it that if you take the back part of the full body cover off then is it rendered useless?

^ Well it is kinda nice to know that in case the phone drops from your pocket to the floor edge first, it still stays in one piece. At least I justify the usage of my silicon cover this way.

And another advantage with it is that it hides the Google-logo in the back cover.

And I go in favor of ZAGG. I've had it since the day one (or at least day two or three) for several months now. I guess if you apply it with the liquid that came along it stays firmly. Absolutely worth trying.

Just to clarify that I'm using ZAGG only in the front... Everywhere else is the Insmat silicon cover.
