Keypad fault - help

I have had a Samsung Galaxy S2 since christmas and I love it. However I have noticed more and more a fault I am having with my keypad.

I doesnt seem to matter if I am using messaging, internet, facebook or something else - when I am typing quite often when I hit the 'd' key it just stops typing. It doesnt seem to happen with any other letters - just 'd'.

Once it has done this I cannot get it to type again. It will recognise suggestions where it shows spelling corrections (I am using swype keypad) but nothing is written on the screen. Even if I come out of it and go back it still wont work, the only way to get it to work again is to go into task manager and end the task and then start again.

I know I have explained this really badly so I apologise now. I hope someone can help, its driving me mad!

Sounds like you have a faulty install, or more likely a conflict with some app.
Reckon you have 3 choices:
1. Go to Settings > Applications and find Swype.
Select and Clear data.
Go back to Applications to restart.
2. Factory reset
3. Select another keyboard or get another via an app from Market - can recommend SwiftKeyX

Swype is my favourite input and I always dislike the version that comes as standard with the Galaxy range. You're probably not rooted but if you are then you can uninstall Swype and then download the Swype Installer and get Swype Beta. I find the Keyboard a lot better.
