    Hotmail issues on ICS XXLPJ

    Afternoon,

Has anybody had any issues? I try to add a hotmail account to the email setting, add my current details and it would proceed further?!?!

    Weird!

I have used Winamlite ICS versions in the past which never had an issue.

    Jason

I like Wanamlite also. his Gingerbread ROM's were fast and lite, but so far his ICS has not been without problems.
Suspect this is a problem with the ROM and suggest you try a SamMobile Official and undoctored ROM as LPQ is working very well.
More and more of us have downloade the Polish version for use in UK and it's smooth and trouble free as well as good on battery life.

My advice is to ditch Wanam for the time being and let others iron out the problems in his ROM's

Should also have said, did you do a full wipe if coming from gingerbread?
This is very important for a trouble free ICS experience.

    In Recovery,
    1. Wipe data/factory reset
    2. Wipe cache partition
    3. Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache

Not necessary unless having problems with phone not fully charging,
    With phone fully charged:
    4. Wipe battery Stats

    Thanks greenman!

Sorry, i should of said the LPJ was from sammobile not wanam.

I reverted back to GB purely for the fact i need hotmail on my phone... Going via the web is too clumsy unfortunately.

Will give your second post a whizz at work.

Go for the Polish LPQ on SamMobile.
    You won't be disappointed.

Additionally, do you have to be rooted to use recovery?

Are you using the Hotmail app?
Is your phone syncing with your hotmail account?
Check in System Settings > Accounts & Sync
