O2 ICS update now on Kies

Enter *#1234# on the screen and if the following is displayed your handset is unlocked and unbranded.

PDA: I9100XWHI4,

PHONE: I9100XXKI1,

CSC: I9100XEUKH2

You can use the files below to flash your ROM.

ICS LPQ firmware here: http://hotfile.com/dl/149514867/aea2...Q_XEO.zip.html Use wnirar to extract the file, when extracted you will have 1 file, this 1 file then goes into the PDA section of odin.

Instructions For Flashing ICS:
Extract the firmware
Extract and then Open Odin
Put your device into recovery mode and do a wipe data/factory reset, when phone has rebooted, power it OFF. (recovery mode, Volume Up + Home + Power)
Put your device into Download MODE (Volume Down + Home + Power)
Click PDA and select I9100XXLPQ_I9100OXALPQ_I9100XXLPQ_HOME.tar.md5
Then finally click START!
When the flash has completed and the phone has rebooted, power OFF and restart in recovery mode and do another wipe data/factory reset.
You can now set your phone up with your google account, samsung account ect.

Like any new launcher you have to give it some time:
Try YouTube for a video of Nova.

Nope, Nothing making me want to move to Nova. I'm not saying it's no good, just that it's not giving me anything I don't have already have or want. I don't really want my phone to look like ICS. My phone reflects my taste and is personal to me.

You may be on O2 but did you buy through O2.
That is important as it is the network that has locked your phone who will provide the update.

If not sure dial *#1234# on your phone dialer and look for the CSC
The O2 CSC wil have O2 in the name e.g. CSC: I9100O2UKJ1
If unlocked (sim free) it will have XEU then you have to wait for an Open ICS (or install the Polish LPQ now via Odin)

If you bought your phone from O2 and it is locked to their network then:
Install and start Kies on your computer.
Connect phone with USB and install drivers (this should work automatically under 'plug and play') if not already done so.
Kies will (eventually) start and inform you of any updates.
If Kies does not work try unplugging and start again - it's very flakey software and doesn't work that well and I would recommend not using it.
